Fragile Life

Yesterday left me thinking how fragile life is. It doesn't matter what you do or where you go or how many security precautions are put in place, things can still happen. I don't want to say a lot about it, to be honest there aren't words to describe such devastation, I just wanted everyone out there that I know and haven't spoken to, that I am thinking of you and I hope you are all safe and well. I want to come over and give you all a big hug.

Seeing the scenes at Aldgate East made me think of all the people who I went to university with, a lot of whom I haven't spoken to in over 9 years. I really hope you are all ok too.

It puts things into perspective and makes you realise that just being here is a privilege.

Hi there,
funny how the terror in London made you think back to our days at Aldgate, me too! There I was, almost 6,000 miles away seeing horrendous images online of places that were so familiar to me. I too was thinking of everyone who was at uni when I was there. Of course, we don't know that our past fellow students are all safe and well, we can only hope that they are.

Would love to hear from you one of these days, especially since we now have motherhood in common! Celia is already 8 months old - can't believe it.

take care, big hugs to you, emily and warren.

Caroline (Yarker).
