Tree Bag

I finally finished this bag last night. It is the first time I have appliqued in this way and the first time I have added a pocket on the inside. I am really quite pleased with it. Although there are a few mistakes, which I learnt from straight away, but I put this down to sewing at midnight instead of being in bed. Also it might help (future reference to myself) to make sure I have enough of the same colour thread.

Note to self: work on product photography

that bag is amazing. I just checked out an applique book and was looking over a picture that is sort of similar, but yours is much "cleaner" if you know what I mean. the one in the book had a thousand leaves...I love the fabrics, it is a really great job!!

I really like it! Each bag I make, I learn from. It is definitely a process, but one you apparently have figured out.

Really cute. I love the lining fabric and the applique.
