Friday Night

How things have changed! Instead of being out on the town these days, I spend my Friday nights staying in, being domestic, watching TV, or in this case painting old yarn cones green.

These are in preparation for the Christmas crafts with the toddlers on Monday. They will be turning them into their very own Christmas trees, decorating them and adding a sparkly star to the top.

At least I haven't abandoned my weekends completely - as you can see my glass already needs a refill!

I thought they were ceramic vases at first! That color and shape would make a really good looking vase.
