Wonky Bunny

I thought I would have a go at this simple tutorial from Mollychicken last night. What should've been really simple I totally over complicated, made too small, used the wrong fabric and was much too tired to really start working on something! But I just had to give it a go.
I didn't have enough felt lying around so I used a scrap of this woven fabric, that every time I touched it, it frayed and got more and more difficult to sew. I also made it slightly too small which made it awkward and went a bit mad on the old blanket stitches.
I will not give up though and I will find out my felt and start again, taking note of all my mistakes.
BUt just so you know Wonky Bunny is beautiful on the inside.

LOL, Maxine,
he/she has come straight from a 70's hippy party!
The blanket stitches around his/her eyes are line eyeliner!

you could be right Esther! Although I am thinking the stitches on the eyes look more like bloodshot eyes...after a heavy night maybe? :)

Sock Monkey loves Wonky Bunny, and I do, too--especially her big ears and button eyes. Easter's not too far away...

WOW - that came out really great - it's so funky and cute. If that is what you make when you are tired, I can't wait to see what you come up with next!!
