Sewing Again
This is not exactly the most exciting thing on the planet but at least it made me get my sewing machine out again. It has been so long since I made anything or created anything. In fact I haven't taken part in Illustration Friday for ages too.
Well this cushion makes me very happy. It is my support cushion from when I was pregnant with Emily and it used to help my very sore back and also came in useful for breast feeding. It had been sitting in the loft for the past couple of years and had a very horrible tatty white cover on it. So I decided it needed some love and attention and I used this lovely fabric (which was a duvet cover thrift find - I have already used it for other things) which goes perfectly with my room. Sitting with it on the sofa, with my cup of tea is like getting a big hug - I love it!
Maybe next time I will have made something a bit more exciting, but for now I am happy. :)
