Finished at Last
Finally we went last night to check over the mural, tidy up and pick up our materials. I can't believe it is finished at last. It really has been an epic and we have been working on it for nearly a year (in the evenings when we could). I am really pleased with the end result and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. Its weird though because despite working on this I still have my painters block and find it hard to pick up one of the many blank canvases I have lying around the house. I will definitely have to work on this.

The mural is amazing. I think I could just sit in there and stare at the walls for hours.

Congratulations! I've sent out all of one packet of my mural notecards, but I've kept the other and hope to frame them up in tiny frames. I'm so used to the small scale of the cards, it would be wonderful to see the finished mural full-sized! I love the detailing around on the door, too. Could look at it for hours!
