Craft Night WIP

Just a peak at some more preparation for next weeks ladies craft night. I made a couple more egg cosies and also started working on some cards - it is Mothers Day weekend after all so it would be rude not to.

I have never bought stamps before because I have this weird thing about everything having to be made from scratch and be as original as possible. So this kind of crafting/card making I always felt it was a bit of a cheat. But I thought I would give it a go as part of the card making will be re-fashioning existing envelopes and I wanted some easy way of decorating the envelope. So here is the first attempt. I have to say I really enjoyed making these, probably because they were so easy.

I will post more on this and a tutorial for the envelope soon.

i use to feel the same way about stamps. now i realize what a pain they are, it really is a fine art using them!

Haven't visited in ages and wow, how things have changed for you! Look how much crafting you are doing, way to go girl ;-) and I am very jealous of your visit to Amy Winehouse, I adore her music. A friend of mine went to see her and she did one number, threw up and left the stage! Bad news when you consider this was my friend's bug night out and she had arranged babysitters etc. Ah well rock and roll eh?

I LOVE your egg cosies, are you selling them? I so want to buy one.
